Project scope: Verbal identity, campaign concepts and launch content.
Service: Verbal identity and campaign ideation.
The context
In 2016, Lucky Lion was already established in Argentina as a company selling electric motorcycles. At a time when electric vehicles were still relatively unfamiliar to the local market, the brand had an opportunity to shape how people perceived this emerging category.
Until then, much of its communication had focused on the practical and economic advantages of electric motorcycles: affordable vehicles, lower running costs and everyday savings.
These benefits mattered, but they told only part of the story. Electric mobility also represented a new way of moving through the world, with the potential to be seen as innovative, distinctive and desirable.
As part of Lucky Lion’s rebranding led by EHYLAG, Nogahl contributed to the verbal identity, slogan development and ideas for the launch campaign and its content.
The challenge
How do you make a new technology appealing when people are not yet familiar with the category?
For Lucky Lion, the opportunity was to move beyond a predominantly price-driven proposition and give electric mobility a more compelling place in people’s minds.
The brand needed to communicate more than what people could save by switching to an electric motorcycle. It needed to bring attention to what made the experience different and why choosing electric could feel exciting.
The challenge was to help shift the conversation from affordability alone to the broader appeal of electric mobility, at a time when the category itself was still taking shape in Argentina.

The role of verbal identity
Verbal identity was central to defining how Lucky Lion would express this new perspective.
A brand’s language can influence the way people understand a product category. It can focus attention on functional benefits, or it can help people see a product in a new light by connecting those benefits with a more distinctive idea.
For Lucky Lion, the opportunity was to develop a voice that presented electric motorcycles as more than an economical alternative: as a forward-looking choice with its own appeal.
This strategic direction informed the development of the brand’s slogan, giving the new positioning a concise verbal expression that could be carried across its communications.
From positioning to campaign
Alongside the verbal identity, Nogahl contributed ideas for the launch campaign and its content.
The aim was to translate the brand’s renewed direction into communication that could introduce a different perspective on electric motorcycles. Rather than relying exclusively on cost savings, the creative approach could explore the appeal of choosing something new in a market where electric mobility had yet to become mainstream.
This connected the brand’s positioning with the way it would introduce itself to the public, helping establish a common direction for the slogan, campaign ideas and launch content.
Making room for a new perception
Lucky Lion illustrates how verbal identity can support a brand when the challenge is not simply to explain a product, but to change the way people think about it.
In an emerging category, communication has an opportunity to go beyond listing features and benefits. It can help make an unfamiliar choice more understandable, relevant and appealing.
By contributing to the verbal identity, slogan and launch campaign ideas, Nogahl helped shape the language and creative direction behind Lucky Lion’s renewed positioning.
Sometimes, building a stronger brand means changing not just what people know about a product, but what they imagine it could be.
