Kunveno: building a new identity around the power of creative expression

Kunveno: building a new identity around the power of creative expression

Project scope: End-to-end branding + Naming
Services: Research, brand strategy, naming, verbal identity and visual identity.

The context

Kunveno was created to give a new identity to an established theatrical education initiative entering a new stage.

With an existing operational foundation, the project was ready to resume its activities in Canning, Argentina, in a new location and under a new name. The opportunity was not simply to change how the school looked, but to establish a distinct identity for the next chapter of the business.

At its heart was a clear purpose: to offer teenagers a space where they could develop their artistic skills, explore their creativity and connect with others through the performing arts.

The school would bring together theatre classes, writing workshops, dance and the collective process of preparing an end-of-year performance. Learning and artistic development would sit alongside self-expression, collaboration and a sense of belonging.

The brand needed to reflect this combination: a place to learn, create and meet.

The challenge

Starting a new chapter meant more than choosing a new name and designing a logo.

The school needed an identity that could express its educational purpose, communicate its distinctive atmosphere and establish its own place in the local community.

It also needed to bring different dimensions of the experience together. Kunveno was both a place for artistic training and a space for expression and connection. Its brand had to reflect the value of learning without losing the openness, energy and creativity that make artistic exploration meaningful.

The challenge was to build a coherent brand from the foundations up, translating the school’s purpose into a name, a strategic direction and an identity that could grow with the project.

The approach

We approached Kunveno as a complete branding project, connecting research, strategy and identity to establish a foundation for its new stage.

01. Research & Brand Strategy

We explored the project, its audience and its context to define the foundations of the brand.

This work helped establish the school’s purpose, positioning, values, personality and narrative, creating a framework for communicating what Kunveno stood for and the kind of experience it wanted to offer.

The strategic direction needed to balance artistic learning with personal expression and connection, giving the school a clear identity beyond the activities it offered.

02. Naming

With the strategic foundations in place, we developed the name Kunveno.

The name gives the school an identity of its own while connecting with a central idea behind the project: bringing people together.

It reflects the school as more than a place where classes take place. Kunveno is a space where young people can meet, exchange ideas, explore different forms of expression and create something together.

The naming process helped give the project a distinctive starting point for its new chapter.

03. Verbal Identity

We developed the verbal identity to express Kunveno’s character and provide consistency across its communications.

The work translated the brand’s strategic foundations into a recognisable way of speaking about the school, its educational approach and the experience it offers.

The aim was to communicate a place that takes artistic development seriously while remaining open, dynamic and welcoming to young people discovering their creative potential.

04. Visual Identity

We translated the brand’s purpose and personality into a visual identity designed to represent Kunveno across its communications.

The identity brought the strategic and verbal foundations into a cohesive visual language, giving the school a recognisable presence and a system it could use as its activities developed.

Rather than treating the logo as an isolated element, the work established a broader identity for the project and its new beginning.

The outcome

Kunveno gained more than a new name and visual identity. The project established the foundations of a distinct brand for the school’s next stage.

A clear identity for a new beginning. The naming and branding work gave the project its own identity, separate from its previous chapter.

A brand rooted in its purpose. The strategic foundations connected the school’s educational role with its emphasis on creativity, expression and community.

A distinctive way to communicate. The verbal and visual identities created a coherent basis for presenting the school and the experience it offers.

A foundation for future growth. The brand established a starting point that could evolve alongside the school, its workshops, its students and its artistic projects.

Together, these elements helped turn an operational restart into a new brand with its own direction and identity.

More than a place to learn theatre

Kunveno illustrates how end-to-end branding can help a business begin a new chapter without starting from zero operationally.

The school already had the foundations to deliver its activities. What it needed was a brand that could express what made the project meaningful and give it a distinct identity in its new context.

By connecting strategy, naming, verbal identity and visual identity, we helped establish a brand around the idea at the heart of the school: a place to learn, express yourself and create together.

Because artistic education is not only about what people learn. It is also about the spaces they find, the connections they make and what they discover they can create.
